The project included the design of the new crime lab, a 5,000 s.f. conference training center, and a 6,000 s.f. warehouse. The first floor of the crime lab housed administrative offices, a 2,000 s.f. evidence vault, office suites for cyber, organized, and major crime squads, a domestic security squad, a telecommunications fusion squad and a separate crime scene lab and garage. Floor 2 holds the DNA/Biology Lab and Floor 3 holds Chemistry, Latent Prints and Questioned Documents labs. The crime lab occupied an entire city block in downtown Pensacola and provided over 150 parking spaces and a secured vehicle compound.
