A Breast Clinic in Florida, designed by RDB, is a state-of-the-art facility where patients have access to all of the medical specialists needed for comprehensive care “under one roof”. This facility’s advanced technologies include mammography, ultrasound, lazer, procedure rooms, tech labs and general exam rooms. This facility also provides necessary support spaces to include dressing rooms with lockers, patient waiting areas, reception, scheduling, clean storage, I.T. network, conferencing and administration offices. The design was a collaboration effort which involved the client’s complete multi-disciplinary staff of doctors, nurses, therapist, counselors, and technicians throughout the entire process. The result of this collaborative design effort is a medical facility that provides the client’s experienced professionals the necessary resources to provide patients the highest level of comprehensive care within a soothing, “spa-like” environment which makes the patient’s experience as comfortable as possible.
