Project Details

Gem Products is one of the world's leading stainless-steel marine and boat hardware suppliers. The new Jacksonville facility combines their corporate offices, R&D engineering, retail and warehouse distribution services. Phase 1 of the project includes 15,000 s.f. of offices/engineering labs, 22,000 s.f. of high bay/high density warehouse/distribution and customer retail space totaling approximately 38,400 s.f. The project is designed to expand in the future to 70,600 s.f. The warehouse is completely air conditioned and utilizes an automated vertical lift modular storage control system that selects, grabs and receives customer-ordered products. The R&D engineering space is fully integrated with both the warehouse shops and the corporate branch to create a highly collaborative working environment. The entire facility is supported by an emergency power system and the structure consists of load bearing tilt-up concrete exterior wall panels with an interior steel frame.
